If you wonder why I haven't posted anything about the Japanese earthquake and tsunami even if I live in the neighboring country of japan, it’s simply because I don't know that much about it. I didn't feel it even if some people in Korea did. I tried to watch the news but as I don't understand Korean yet I don't really get anything out of that, only depressive pics and videos. And all the information I have about this catastrophe is what I’ve read from English, Swedish and Finnish sites which means that can I only repeat what you most likely already know.
Yes, friends and family have contacted me to see if everything is okay with me and I really appreciate it. The only thing that really worried me about my own health is if the cloud of radioactive substances would come over to Korea, but as the Japanese people in Tokyo should be safe from it (as long as the nuclear thing doesn't become an even bigger catastrophe) I don't think I have anything to be afraid of.
When I heard about it I really wanted to go there as a voluntarie and help, but as my situation is an exchange student situation it doesn't really work like that.
With that said I would like to leave the subject, if it's not gonna affect me more than it has. I’m wishing the best of luck and strength to the people of and in Japan and the other countries that have been affected by the tsunami, and I also wish good look to the YFU Japanese exchange students whose exchange year have become a bit delayed.
I will still keep updated.
